What is the FEA
The FEA was established in 1973 as a non-profit association of senior financial executives within industry and commerce in Ireland. Its purpose is to provide a forum for continuing professional development of its members, by affording members the opportunity of meeting with their peers in both a business and social context.
Its principal objectives are:
- To provide a medium for the exchange of ideas and experiences among members.
- To promote seminars, meetings, social and other functions for maintaining contact among members.
- To encourage and foster relationships with other national and international financial institutes.
Message from the President
It is with great pleasure to address you as President, FEA , 2011/2012.
I encourage you to participate fully in our schedule of events this year. Indeed, there is much to look forward to this coming year. The FEA is a valuable, long standing, networking association. The structure of the FEA is now evolving, but the core principles remain the same: to provide a platform for information exchange and education, within a social setting. This year we will work towards creating greater awareness of the FEA to associates, colleagues and parallel bodies. Members remain the lifeblood of our organisation, Such is the popularity of the FEA, and the calibre of our dinner speakers, that we have consistently high numbers of members attending all our events.
I look forward to welcoming you all to our events this year, and thank my incoming Council for their support as we plan for the future.
